I love giving sentimental gifts. Gifts that will always hold a special place in your heart and can even be passed down generations. I probably got this from my mama but I’m always looking for meaningful and sentimental gifts to give to my loved ones. With Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Graduate Season coming up, I wanted to share with you some sentimental gifts I’ve been loving lately.
It may be worth mentioning, if you’re shopping for mother’s day pay close attention to shipping deadlines! On some sites you may still have time, while others you may have to pay extra for priority shipping. I probably should’ve gotten this post out last week ? but you can always bookmark any of the gifts for any other holidays later on in the year ?.
A handful fo these gifts somehow involved kitchen-related items but it’s totally a coincident! Lately I’ve been loving all things cooking and baking related which is kind of how we ended up here lol!

I’ve seen beautiful cutting boards that give you the option of doing a simple monogram or even engraving a family favorite recipe.

This is another special way to pass down some favorite family recipes.
- Personalized Notebook & Portable Printer
This was my first Mother’s Day gift to myself a couple of years ago thanks to @heymadinelson! There’s so many things you can do with a journal like share pictures, prayers or letters to a loved one. My plan is to eventually share this notebook filled with sweet notes and stories to Raelynn once she becomes an adult.

Another “kitchen” item thats too cute to not share lol!
This is perfect for father’s day if you have a dad that loves sports and golfing.
- Jewelry
I left this category broad because there’s so many things you can do here. There are more “manly” personalized leather bracelets for dad. For mom, matching “themed” earrings would make a super cute gift. Lastly, for the graduate, it would be super sweet to gift them a bracelet engraved with the coordinates of “home”.
- Family Photo Session
I’m a sucker for family photos. Nothing can replace those memories and it’s extremely special way to have a frozen moment in time forever.
My mama has gifted this throw to every single graduate she knows for as long as I can remember lol. I still have the one she gave me during my high school graduation!
- Handwritten Gifts
This is something new I’ve stumbled across recently. There are so many options out there to from wallets and keychains to bracelets.
