Are there any other mama’s out there that feel like they spend every waking hour cleaning?!
Between having a toddler who turns her playroom upside down in seconds and the constant need to sanitize when hubby comes home from work, I feel like I’m always cleaning like a mad-woman!
Here are some staple products I’ve come to love just in case there’s any other mama’s out there trying to find the perfect products to use! While I do try to mostly use products that are safe to use around kids because cleaning is a team effort in our house, I highly recommend reading the labels on all of these products thoroughly before use!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
This stuff is gold. If you have a toddler and a box of crayons anywhere in your house, you need this! Any and every stubborn stain we end up with, I use this on it and 9 times out of 10…poof….gone!
Microban
I love using this spray on our heavily trafficked areas and anytime we have a guest over. Its 24-hour claim of defense gives us peace of mind especially in the midst of the pandemic we’re currently in.
Method All Purpose Surface Spray
Method is brand I stumbled across within the last couple of years and grown to love! It all started with their multipurpose spray. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it cuts through everything! Including pesky makeup stains on my bathroom counter! Since it’s non-toxic I’m comfortable using this spray pretty much daily on all of our counters and surfaces.
Microfiber Towels
If you have mirrors anywhere in your house (who doesn’t!?) you need this! I stupidly used paper towels and everything else on our mirrors for years and nothing beats microfiber towels.
Lemon Oil and Water
I haven’t tried it yet, but my sister over at aromaticbalance.com swears by this! She’s a mom of 2 boys and really knows her stuff when it comes to using essential oils! I just ordered a glass spray bottle on amazon and as soon as it gets in I’ll be trying this recipe out myself!
Baking Soda and Vinegar
Here’s another natural method I’ve adopted recently! This is a trick I love using on top of our glass stovetop to get rid of stubborn stains. I simply spray vinegar all over the stovetop and sprinkle baking soda on top of that. The mixture should sit on top of the stove for a couple of minutes before wiping clean.
All Free and Clear
Laundry day is hands-down my least favorite house chore. This is my go-to detergent partially because I have no other choice due to allergies and partially because it’s safe to use for our entire family. I never had to use a special baby detergent with Raelynn’s clothes because this detergent was already a staple for our home.
Mrs. Meyer’s Rose Spray
I loveeee using this spray after I vacuum because it smells absolutely heavenly! Unlike other room sprays I’ve tried in the past, this one actually sticks and lingers.
Folex Carpet Spray
I was influenced to buy this stuff at the end of last year and it’s amazing! Between having a toddler and my own clumsiness, our carpet takes a lot of hits so I love using this stuff to keep our carpet clean.
That wraps up pretty much everything I use in our household on the regular!
